Original A3 mounted Watercolour and Fountain Pen splatter sketch.
A focal point in the Co Antrim village of Cushendall, the Curfew Tower was built in 1817 by Francis Turnly, who made his fortune with the East India Company in China and was said to be inspired by the towers he saw along the Great Wall of China. Now a private residence, the tower built from pink/red sandstone, stands proud in the village.
This is an original A3 mounted watercolour and fountain pen splatter sketch, ready to frame and display.
A Belfast native now living in Larne, artist Nigel McAuley is inspired by the industrial heritage and old streets of Belfast, as well as the magical Antrim coast. He works in watercolour and fountain pen and enjoys creating art that evokes a memory for someone.
